Even though India is a democracy, the government cannot prohibit the access to the Dark Web due to which many companies and individuals have started using this route to sell their products and services. But it is up to the concerned authorities to stop them from using these services. The government has made a few measures to prevent people from using these services that include blocking the links on the Internet but that does not mean that the use of the Dark Web is illegal in India. The government may block the websites that have questionable content, but that will not be effective against the websites that have genuine contents such as the ones mentioned above.
